Colour coded wings allows for easy identification of needle gauge. The interlocking finger grips assist stability during cannulation. The rotating wings feature a “dot” for easy identification of bevel orientation. Designed to help prevent needlestick injuries. The finger shield protects the pressure-holding fingers of the healthcare worker during removal of the needle and activation of the safety guard. The Nurse-Safe safety guard does not interfere with site selection, cannulation or tape down technique and can be controlled with only one hand. An audible and tactile click confirms when the needle is safely locked in place providing increased protection. Oval back-eye. The forward positioned “back-eye” minimises the possibility of blood seepage during cannulation and needle withdrawal.
