Description

The Allevyn Tracheostomy dressing combines the benefits of Allevyn with a ‘key-hole’ aperture, which allows the dressing to fit neatly around a tracheostomy tube or other drain or stoma.

If required, the dressing may be cut to shape. Removal of the dressing is also simple and painless, causing minimal distress to the patient.
• Breathable Film: The breathable film used in OpSite* forms the outer surface of the Allevyn Tracheostomy dressing, so preventing leakage of secretions through the front of the dressing, providing an easy clean surface and acting as a barrier to liquids, aiding in the prevention of bacterial contamination.

Contra Indication:

• Allevyn Tracheostomy dressings should not be reused.
• Do not use Allevyn Tracheostomy dressings with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions (eg, EUSOL) or hydrogen peroxide, as these can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressing.
